Project Description:
In 2014, Rosaviatsiya decided to build a new runway to replace the existing Runway 2 (RWY-2) at Domodedovo Airport. The construction was part of the “Reconstruction and Development of Domodedovo Airport” project.
The project cost was estimated at RUB 12.85 billion. In October 2018, Rosaviatsiya terminated the contract due to financial problems, and construction was stopped.
